„Die vier jugendlichen Sprayer David, Tino, Elyas und Achim haben sich der Graffiti-Szene mit ihren ganz eigenen Werten, Regeln und Codes verschrieben. Zusammen ziehen sie durch die Stadt, bevorzugt nachts, und lassen m\u00f6glichst kunstvolle Graffitis zur\u00fcck. Als eine andere Crew in der Stadt auftaucht, entbrennt ein Kampf um Ehre und Style, der an Grenzen st\u00f6\u00dft: Die vier Jungs wollen einen WHOLETRAIN, einen ganzen S-Bahn-Zug, bespr\u00fchen. Dieser Entschluss wird ihr Leben f\u00fcr immer ver\u00e4ndern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um Respekt vor dem Einzelnen und um Anerkennung innerhalb eines sehr speziellen Kollektivs geht es in Florian Gaags Spielfilmdeb\u00fct. Das Low-Budget-Projekt mit dem Anspruch, die Realit\u00e4t der Graffiti-Szene authentisch darzustellen. Der Autor und Regisseur Florian Gaag geh\u00f6rte selbst \u00fcber mehrere Jahre zur M\u00fcnchner Graffiti-Szene. Er studierte sp\u00e4ter Film an der Tisch School of the Arts in New York und war in dieser Zeit als Korrespondent t\u00e4tig f\u00fcr das HipHop-Magazin \u201eJuice\u201c. F\u00fcr die Gestaltung und Ausf\u00fchrung des Graffiti- Artwork und der Pieces in seinem Film konnte er die in der internationalen Szene bekannten Graffiti-K\u00fcnstler Won, Cemnoz, Pure, Ciel und Neon gewinnen. Gedreht wurde mit einem jungen Ensemble, \u00fcberwiegend Deb\u00fctanten vor und hinter der Kamera, in M\u00fcnchen und Warschau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHOLETRAIN wurde bei den 56. Internationalen Filmfestspielen in Berlin uraufgef\u00fchrt, erhielt dort mit \u201eDialogue En Perspective\u201c eine lobende Erw\u00e4hnung, und vielfach ausgezeichnet \u2013 u.a. mit vier Adolf-Grimme-Preisen (Regie, Drehbuch Schnitt, Kamera) und dem Preis der Jugendjury beim exground filmfest 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
